Natalie Alvarez graduated with a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Clemson University. She then completed a Yale NIH Post-baccalaureate Research Education Program (PREP). After that, she joined the Microbiology and Molecular Genetics program at Emory University in 2019 with an interest in studying infectious diseases and host-pathogen interaction.
